At 2:12 pm, the department was dispatched for a vehicle accident on Swamp Pike. A few minutes later, it was upgraded to a vehicle rescue with one occupant entrapped in the vehicle. Rescue 51, Squad 51, and Fire Police from 51 and 67 responded. Crews were able to extricate the patient in less than ten minutes. Crews cleared debris from the road and were made available within the hour.
