At 5:25 p.m. on Wednesday, Limerick Fire Department was dispatched for an accident with the report of a train striking a vehicle at the railroad crossing at Railroad Street and Trinley Road. Command 51, Rescue 51, Squad 51 and Special Service 51, along with fire police responded. On arrival Command 51 advised incoming units to access the incident from Trinley Road. Crews arrived on location and cleaned up debris and secured the scene. Rescue 98 was also dispatched to assist on the call.
