Members from the department were honored to support a local family today in honor of Dawson Faust who is soon to be 2 years old and has brain cancer. Local police departments joined with No Shave November, Red Corner Benefit, Survivors Cancer Foundation, and LFD to assist this family with some Christmas Cheer and financial support. Both Dawson on the 22nd and his sister Addie on the 19th will be in Children's Hospital of Philadelphia this month for additional testing as Addie, Dawson's Sister was born with a Congenital Heart Defect.

Next Saturday December 16th LFD is also part of Operation Christmas Kids Toy Run delivering gifts to The Bryn Mawr Hospital and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and you still have time to stop by either station to donate unwrapped gifts at the entrance door.

Remember this time of season is about giving rather than receiving.
