At 8:44 am on September 24, the Limerick Fire Department was dispatched for an electrical fire on Gerloff Rd. Ladder 51 and Fire Police responded. A tree had fallen across Gerloff Rd, taking down wires and knocking out power in the area. Crews arrived, established a safe working area and then cut and removed the tree from the roadway. All were made available a short time later.
