6th Annual Firefighter Day Camp for Individuals with Special Needs
Saturday, October 12, 2024 1st session: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. OR 2nd session: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
All disabilities and ages welcome!
Why try this Camp? Attendees will:
- Learn fire safety
- Learn about the fire house and the trucks
- Hands-on with the equipment
- Ladders
- Hoses
- Extinguishers
- Rescue tools
- Fire gear
- Watch several live demonstrations by the firefighters
- And more….
Information
All registered campers will receive one Fireman’s tee shirt as their ‘daily uniform.’
We require closed-toed shoes/sneakers each day. Open-toe shoes and flip flops are not permitted at camp.
Parents are permitted to stay and watch the activities during camp hours.
Camp will go on if there is rain or excessive heat. We will take necessary safety measures.
We ask each individual’s parent or caregiver stay on site while camp is operating for safety & health reasons.
Programs and activities offered by the Limerick Fire Department are available to all persons without regard to race, color, sex, disability, religion, age, veteran status, political beliefs, sexual orientation, national origin, and marital or family status.
