During Monday night's department meeting dozens of members were presented unit citations for their services during Hurricane Ida on September 1, 2021. Additionally, 12 members of Limerick Fire Department, who went above and beyond, were presented an Award of Merit for their services. These individuals responded to over 35 calls of service with 20 of the responses being water related rescues working nonstop throughout the evening. Presenting the awards was Captain Robert Brock.
