On Sunday, May 15 members of the Limerick Fire Department, Limerick Police Department, Trappe Fire Company and Pottstown Fire Department attended a first responder service held at the Trinity Lighthouse Church in Limerick. A meet and greet was held before the service with the crews visiting with the church members and showing them the apparatus and equipment. Andy Whittemore led worship and Pastor Wayne Houck gave the sermon on the topic of "Courage" based on the book of Matthew chapter 14. A special prayer was also offered up for all first responders and their families. The department appreciated the invite and looks forward to returning in the future!
