At 12:24 pm, the department was dispatched for a fire investigation at Fresenius Medical Care. Employees reported a strong odor of something burning inside. Crews arrived and began investigating, finding a light haze and a strong electrical odor in the building. Upper Providence, Squad 68, was dispatched to assist. Crews found a burnt appliance and secured it. On scene were Ladder 51, Engine 51, Deputy 51 and Squad 68. All were made available approximately thirty minutes later.
