Limerick crews headed to Auto Rescue on Swamp Pike in Limerick for Monday night training to practice advanced vehicle rescue techniques. Members utilized struts, cribbing, battery-operated, and manual tools to stabilize multiple vehicles and perform rescue operations in simulated advanced scenarios. Evolutions included a car on its side against another vehicle and a multi-vehicle crash with elevated hazards. Various techniques were used to determine the best method to safely and quickly perform the rescue. Members braved the heavy rain to complete a successful training on high-risk/low-frequency advanced extrication.
