For Monday night training on September 16, the Limerick firefighters practiced trailer operations at the Limerick Station. Utility 51-1 was hooked up to the UTV trailer and Utility 51-2 was hooked up to the boat trailer. Personnel also gained experience in operating the UTV. The junior firefighters were split into two groups and went to The Learning Experience on Keystone Dr and Kiddie Academy on N Lewis Rd. The juniors were tasked with creating building pre-plans and identifying the hazards and risks surrounding the specific building that they were assigned. After getting the necessary information while on scene, the juniors headed back to the Limerick Station and drew their plans on the whiteboards before presenting their pre-plans to the senior firefighters.
