On November 30, the department hosted a community CPR and First Aid class, taught by Mike Tuski. Community members learned how to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies in order to be able to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or critically ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.
