Past Fire Chief Don Andes of the Limerick Fire Company, and Life Member of the Limerick Fire Department, was honored by the Limerick Township Board of Supervisors for 55 years of dedicated volunteer service to our community. Board of Supervisors Chair, Kara Shuler, read the citation that was presented to Don during the Township's Annual Holiday Party held on December 5. During his 55-year tenure, Don served as Fire Chief for over 10 years, and as the Treasurer for 53 years. Don continues to be an active member of the department where his son Ben serves along side of him. Don is pictured with the Limerick Fire Department leadership that was in attendance, as well as with Supervisors Shuler, Sperring, and Morroney who presented the citation.
