At 4 pm on January 16, the department was dispatched to a report of an odor of gas at the Wawa located at Ridge Pike and N Lewis Rd. Engine 51 and Battalion 51 responded. The building was evacuated prior to the arrival of the fire department. The crews investigated but did not detect any gas readings. All were made available a short time later.
