On Sunday, February 16, the Limerick Fire Department had a busy day responding to sixteen calls. The first call occurred at 1:01 pm for an electrical fire on Richards Ct. Crews responded to three fire alarms and a dispatch for a building fire assist in North Coventry Twp, Chester County. The rest of the calls were wind-storm related with crews removing trees from the road, closing roads due to downed power lines, and starting generators at intersection traffic lights that lost power. A crew stayed overnight at the firehouse to cover any night calls. |
