On February 26, Limerick crews had a busy Wednesday, responding to five calls throughout the day. The first call came in at 11 a.m. to assist with an electrical fire on Mine Hill Rd in Lower Frederick. The second call was for a field fire on School Rd and Northfield Lane, where the fire was actively spreading through brush when crews arrived. Battalion 51 requested assistance from mutual aid companies, and Skippack, Lower Frederick, and Perkiomen responded. The final three calls of the day included two fire alarms—one at the Montessori School and the other at Lewis Rd Business Park—as well as a fire special service request, which was later recalled shortly after dispatch. |
