The Limerick Fire Dept received an early morning call at 2am on March 17. Crews responded to a report of a vehicle into a pole with possible fire. One occupant of the vehicle was seriously injured and Chief 51 reported that there was no fire. A helicopter was requested but it remained grounded due to hazardous weather conditions. The driver was taken to the Paoli Trauma center by Freedom Valley Ambulance. Crews secured the truck and assisted with clearing debris and heavy fluids. Fire police assisted with traffic control for the duration of the incident.
