Around 2:45 p.m. the Department was dispatched for a vehicle rescue at the intersection of Ridge Pike and South Limerick Road. It was reported to be a two vehicle accident and one vehicle was on its side with one person trapped. Units arrived on scene, stabilized the vehicle and removed the windshield to extricate the subject. Fire Police assisted by closing the affected roadways.
